The brothers of Zeta Beta attempt to keep this as our main focus. Mike Osborn, our National President, has said, "Our strength is in our love of and dedication to BAND. Any weakness we have as a Brotherhood can directly be traced back to the loss of BAND as our central focus, even if only for the slightest moment." There are things that we assume most chapters do in a band of our size; take equipment to our football games, set up and tear down chairs and stands for various rehearsals, provide socials for the band, & etc.... We also desire to go beyond that by holding solo-enemble contests to better groom the college bandsman of tomorrow, purchasing a 20 foot marching tower, rasing money to purchase a five-octave rosewood marimba, holding a leadership workshop, painting our band hall, repainting storage cabinets, & volunteering lab hours to keep our music computer lab open. Zeta Beta doesn't do these things to say look, here I am! Look at how good I am! I do it because I have a desire to manifest my love for the college band. How to Help Only the self-centered and self-serving try to do it by themselves. We welcome anyone wanting to help us strive for the highest. How can you help? Well, first, keep us in your prayers. The chapter believes that prayer is a powerful thing. we realize there are some out there who don't believe in prayer, but we do, and we pray that God will Bless you for your effort. Second, the chapter would love to hear from you! Unexpected notes of encouragement from alumni, other KKPsi and TBS chapters, national and district officers, & headquarters staff can go a long way to provide inspiration and focus to collegiate brothers busy with college life and service to the band. Last, consider a financial donation to any of our causes, or our general fund. Money isn't where it begins and ends but it helps us achieve many of our loftiest goals.
